THE EXPERT

The majority of every ticket price goes directly to your field guide, an act which is more important than you know. By acknowledging their shared expertise with fiscal value, you’re supporting their work and journey through the (all-too-often undervalued) environmental sector.

THE GEAR

To ensure the most of our Mappa experiences, we do our best to invest in and equip attendees with the gear most relevant to the activity. Think binoculars for birding or field guides for foraging, we also account for the costs of first aid kits as well as those associated with the food and drink included in some of our events.

THE ADMIN

Boring but necessary. Admin duties include management of insurances, permits, inboxes, webpages, program development, and general operating expenses. Seemingly endless and more often than not needs to be done from behind a screen.

PAYING IT FORWARD

We love this planet that we call home and we're in business to help protect it. We also believe the outdoors is a place for all humans to learn and grow. And while we strive to keep prices as accessible as possible, we recognise that ticket costs can remain a barrier of entry for some. So a percentage of each ticket sold is either donated to the Traditional Land Owners, a nominated environmental cause, or goes towards subsidizing a ticket for someone else who needs it.
